diamond
MONATELIER is particular about the quality of the cut and rough stones, and the president himself travels to the diamond exchange in Mumbai, India, to purchase directly from a major diamond polishing company that supplies rough stones to De Beers.
By purchasing our main materials without going through trading companies or wholesalers, we are able to reduce costs, which is reflected in our product prices.
In addition, by sourcing from official channels such as De Beers, we are able to prevent the mixing in of conflict diamonds and synthetic diamonds.

The shine is amazing
The diamonds are small but have a wonderful sparkle. The subtle size makes them suitable for both formal and casual wear. They are perfect for wearing alone or stacked.

Quality beyond the price
My boyfriend gave me this necklace as a Christmas gift.
The actual product is even more sparkly than the photos on the website, and it reflects light beautifully every time it moves.
I was honestly surprised at how brilliant a diamond can be.

★★★★★
It's so beautiful!
The diamonds are dazzlingly sparkling and are so beautiful! They shine so brightly that you can't help but stare at them, and they are mesmerizing.
I also have an eternity ring from a high-end brand, and I was surprised that this one compares favorably to it, in fact it shines just as brightly.
Monatelier Diamond Standards
World-class diamonds
Diamonds are selected by staff (*2) who are certified by the global standard GIA (*1) for diamond appraisal, and diamonds of the specified quality are set into products.
Diamonds are graded according to the 4Cs (Carat/Color/Clarity/Cut) established by the GIA.
Monatelier selects diamonds in accordance with global standards, and purchases diamonds with an emphasis on their brilliance (luster).
(*1) GIA: A non-profit organization that provides standards used in the global diamond trade. Diamonds that are not certified by GIA are generally not eligible for trade.
(*2) Staff with diamond appraisal qualifications: GIA is also an educational institution for stone appraisers, and staff certified by GIA are GG/Graduate Gemologists.

Conflict Diamond Free
Only genuine diamonds
It is said that diamonds that do not go through the official channels of the diamond cartel De Beers are likely to contain diamonds that have been illegally exported from countries in civil war in order to raise funds for conflicts.
Monaterie sources its diamonds through official channels from De Beers to prevent the mixing of conflict diamonds.

Synthetic Diamond Free
All made with natural diamonds
Synthetic diamonds go by various names, such as lab-grown diamonds and ethical diamonds. There is nothing wrong with knowing they are synthetic and understanding their value before purchasing them, but they are sometimes sold mixed in with expensive natural diamonds. There are also cases where synthetic diamonds are mixed in by suppliers without the seller realizing it.
Monatelier eliminates all such possibilities.
All inspections are carried out using specialized large-scale testing equipment and by qualified personnel who have completed GIA training.

Delicate yet strong jewelry
Original bullion
At MONATELIER, we are particular about the base metal of our jewelry, and use a special K10 that is harder than regular K10 while maintaining the same gold content. Regular K10 is a mixture of 41.7% pure gold and around 58% silver and copper.
Gold and silver are soft metals, so copper is mixed in to increase their strength, but regular K10 is still prone to deformation, so care must be taken when handling it as jewelry.
The special K10 used in MONATELIER jewelry is a material that is resistant to deformation even when worn daily, so you can enjoy it for a long time with peace of mind.
Original metal that is delicate yet resistant to deformation
While regular K10 deforms by 20% at 3.86 kg, the K10 used at Monatelier shows almost no deformation. (Yamanashi Prefectural Industrial Technology Center)

General K10

Monatelier's K10

Nickel-free
Nickel is a metal that can be mixed with K10 to improve workability during manufacturing.
However, nickel is an allergen, so if it comes into direct contact with the skin, it can cause problems such as rashes, and in recent years it has also been pointed out that it is carcinogenic.
At Monaterie, we do not use any allergens or carcinogens, such as nickel, in our materials or processing ingredients.
Types of bullion

10k Yellow Gold
Durable original yellow gold.
K10 is a softer yellow than K18. In fact, K10 is a versatile color that suits both warm and cool skin tones.

10k white gold
The color of K10 white gold has been carefully selected to ensure that it is a deep white, even with the metal's natural texture.
Rhodium plated for a clear white finish.
This white color is popular among cool-toned people.

10K pink gold
Monatelier's pink gold is an original color.
The color is toned down to reduce redness and blends well with the skin without being too sweet.

Platinum Pt950
We use hard platinum, which is also used in bridal rings, and the purity is the global standard Pt950.
To ensure durability even in delicate jewelry, hard platinum, which is difficult to produce, is used.
Platinum is a heavy metal that is recommended for special jewelry. It hardly tarnishes and is durable enough to last a lifetime.
*The chain is made of Pt850 and the earring posts are made of Pt900.
