New Year's limited edition! Limited edition rainbow rings by Arc [Arc] on sale for a limited time

happy new year.

The ring that was released exclusively at last year's pop-up will be re-released as a limited-time New Year's project!

The rainbow-colored ring is beautiful and fun to look at. It uses beautiful sapphires, and even though it is colored stone jewelry, the stones sparkle.

We use sapphires and green garnets that we purchased a long time ago, so we will not be able to produce this quality and price in the future. Therefore, we are offering a limited quantity.

About the selection of colored sapphires

This limited edition product uses colored sapphires and green garnets. Sapphires are a mineral called corundum, and their color varies depending on subtle differences in elements. For example, chromium affects the redness, and when there is little chromium, it becomes pink sapphire, and when there is a strong reddish color, it becomes ruby. There are many types of sapphires, such as yellow sapphires and purple sapphires, so it is extremely difficult to match the color of each.

At Monatelier, we normally only sell our products online, so we strive to ensure that the product images shown in the photos are accurate to the actual product. It is a difficult task to make each gemstone look identical, each with its own unique character, and to align them into a specific rainbow color palette. This is possible thanks to our special procurement routes and the time and skill we put into selecting gemstones.

The Importance of Gemstone Selectors

At Monatelier's workshop, GG (Graduate Gemologist) qualified staff select diamonds and colored stones. These knowledgeable and experienced staff see hundreds to thousands of gemstones every day, which is why they are able to match the color of the sapphires used in this rainbow ring.

Not only do we have qualifications, but by utilizing our knowledge and experience, we provide high-quality jewelry that our customers will be happy with, while focusing on the balance between price and quality. Of course, the diamonds and colored stones used in Monatelier's jewelry are also selected by GG-certified staff. Not only are our prices affordable, but our reviews of beautiful diamonds are also praised thanks to the craftsmanship of our gemstone selection.

A craftsman meticulously sets beautiful colored stones

Even if you have beautiful gemstones, ruining them during the jewelry-making process will not bring out the best in the material. At Monatelier's workshop, we use a microscope to set the stones, a technique called microsetting. This is an essential technique for setting the stones with tiny prongs that bring out the gemstone's charm. If the angles of the stones are not aligned, the colors will appear different, so we set them in a neat line. The shape of the prongs is also shaped to balance the appearance. This is a common practice in jewelry making, but there are not many jewelry manufacturers that go to such lengths at this price range. We carefully craft each piece of jewelry so that the luxury of the jewelry is not compromised, even though the price is affordable.

To customers who purchased ALC at the August 2024 pop-up

We are very sorry that we are bringing it back as a limited edition.
When we held our Shibuya pop-up in August, customers who couldn't come to the store told us how sad they were that they couldn't buy our products, and this has always stuck in my mind, so I wanted to create an opportunity for them to purchase our products somewhere.
Due to the recent rise in raw material costs, we are not selling at the same price as in August.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
